So I too have a dream (hmm who do I sound like) Mara. I gentleman told me a story a few years that I think about often. He and his wife bought a home with a big property that also had a barn. A cat showed up one day had kittens and now there are about 12 cats that live there. They feed them everyday and have adotped them as their own. I loved the image of having a place where I too could do that or piggybacking on your idea have a place where I could accept pets who are homeless and let them lead a great life. So that is the dream I am putting out there (hopefully some dream makers will be reading this or better yet intuitively hacking into our messages :-))
But I have been thinking in the short term of adding another pet from our local humane society by years end. i will keep you posted however on my journey to get my own place and open up my own little animal sanctuary. I will be more proactive with this goal in the next few months!!! (talk is cheap!!!)
